My Cricut Craft Room Blog Hop

It's time for the My Cricut Craft Room Design Team Blog Hop!!!!   Hope your enjoying the hop so far!  You should have come from Mary's blog.  If not and you want to start at the beginning just go to My Cricut Craft Room.
Today I've created 3 projects. First one up is a thank you card I made for my boss. I used Fancy Frames cartridge and sized it with my (moms) Gypsy. I wanted it to be black and white with a pop of color. I must say it turned out better then i thought. I used a 4x5 1/2 white card and white and black sparkle fabric paper for the card base. White paper for the shadow and black for the frame. I tied a bow using blue gingham ribbon and popped it through the frame. Added some stickles for sparkle.

For my second project, I used the Nursery Rhymes cartridge to make a baby shower card.  I cut the Rock a baby at 3 3/4" in baby blue and shadow in brown. I used DCWV the all about me paper stack to make the card base. I put the cut out on a wobble so it would rock! I also used glossy accents to fill in the cradle.

For my third project I made a gift tag for the baby shower gift, using the Garden Soup cartridge. I cut it out at 2". Then inked and tied a matching blue ribbon from the card to it. I also used a white pen to make stitches.

Thanks so much for visiting (I'm actually in Jamaica right now he- he on my honeymoon)  thank you mom for updating my post for me!  Now on to ....Tracy

My Cricut Craft Room Design Team Post

Hello ladies!!!! Today's theme is beer, wine, and alcohol. So, I've created a 12x12 2 page layout for my honeymoon. (I'm sure we will have a drink or six on the cruise lol) I used firefly and starry night stickles to add some bling.

I picked up the 12x12 paper from the Target dollar bins awhile back. It worked out perfect!
I used Life is a beach cartridge to cut out the 5" pineapple drink and the Luau cartridge to cut out the 4" coconut drink.
then inked all the edges. ( I just love that look)

The drink stickers are Me & My Big Ideas.

I hoped you enjoyed my project. and i will post the pictures when we return!
If you like this project, please check out whats going on over at My Cricut Craft room

My Cricut Craftroom Design team post

Today I created a mother's day card for Erica's Room. I cut the florish at 2" from Storybook cartridge. I used BoBunny Sweet tooth indulge paper. (From Erica) The card base is kraft stock measuring at 5 1/2" x 4 1/4". The flower stickers ( sparkly sweet) are K&C Company. I used a 1" circle punch for the 3 circles and hand wrote "mom" using Gelly roll pen- green star. I then popped dotted the "mom".  I loved how this card turned out, hope my mom does too!!!

Thank you for checking out my project!!! Happy Scrapping!

My Cricut Craftroom Design team post

Hello there!! Today is card day and thank goodness for that cuz I really need to stock my stash.  I used the card sketch from Erica.

This is the card sketch
I used 3 different cartridges, and my Gypsy, (well okay my mom's Gypsy - but we share everything), to make my card.  George and Basic Shapes was used to cut the circle at approx. 5", Gypsy wanderings was used to cut the shoe at approx. 3", and Wild Card was used to cut the banner at approx. 4 1/2 inches.  I layered everything using the Gypsy to get my sizes right.

I also used Kraft cardstock for my base and the images were cut with paper provided by Erica!  They are from Imaginisce and Kaiser Craft - Bonjour Collection.

The stamp is from My Pink Stamper - Punnylious

Flowers are from Shabby Chic

Silver Stickles add a little touch of bling

Look how cut that shoe paper is!

Well that's it, hope you loved my take on the card sketch today.  For more projects like mine please visit My Cricut Craft Room

(You should have come from Miranda's blog at  nannasscrapspot)
For my first project I used Wild card

This is the envelope, it was cut at 6" from My Minds eye where the heart is pack, and I cut it again in green and just cut off the grass part

You get extra flowers from the centers so I added them on the outside of the envelope

This is the front of the card and I used more of the extra flowers to add detail to the flower

Isn't this cute how the flower opens up and you have the area to write your note

Card and envelope together

For my second project I used the Paisley cartridge to decorate the front of puzzle boxes;

I bought the puzzles at the $1 store.  I then printed out pictures on full size sticker paper and adhered them to the completed puzzles and cut them back apart.  I covered each puzzle box with the same photo and decorated them with images from Paisley.

I am going to put each piece in an egg, then assign colors to all my nephews and my children and this will be their Easter egg hunt tomorrow.  Once they find all their certain egg color we will put the puzzles together!
I hope you have enjoyed my projects today.  Keep on with our wonderful hop going to GLORIA next

My Cricut Craftroom Design team post

It's card creating Tuesday over at My Cricut Craft Room!  I've made a chocolate bunny card using the Easter 2010 cartridge and gypsy.  Using my Gypsy I flipped one of the chocolate bunnies and then welded them together.  They were approx. 6" tall, I just enlarged the bunnies until they seemed the right size.  I then ran them through my embosser using the swirls embossing folder.  The bunny was then inked in chocolate brown. I tied a piece of ribbon for his bow and gave him a googly eye.  I chalked his nose in pink and gave him a cotton tail!

Do you see Ms Pink Cricut enjoying my chocolate bunny?  Do you think she is the one who took a bite out of his ear???
